Revenue inspector arrested taking bribe in district Sakti
The applicant Bharatlal resident of village Bhatmahool Tehsil Hasaud District-Sakti had complained to Anti Corruption Bureau Bilaspur that the land in his and his parents’ name is situated in village Bhatmahool, for the demarcation work of which the court Tehsildar Hasaud District-Sakti had ordered Revenue Inspector Kutrabod Shri Badrinarayan, on contacting whom the accused Revenue Inspector demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. Instead of demarcating the applicant, the accused was repeatedly demanding bribe. The applicant did not want to give bribe to the accused Revenue Inspector but wanted to get him caught red handed. After verification of the complaint, today on 24.01.2025, ACB Bilaspur organized a trap and caught Revenue Inspector Badrinarayan red handed while taking the first installment of the bribe amount of Rs 30 thousand.
The accused has been taken into custody and action is being taken against him under the provisions of Section 7 of the PC Act 1988.

Havildar and constable arrested taking bribe in district Sarangarh
The applicant Mahendra Sahu, resident of village Girsa, police station Sarsiva, district-Saranggarh, had complained to the Anti Corruption Bureau Bilaspur that there was some dispute between him and his father, about which his father had complained to the police station-Sarsiva, district-Saranggarh. For the settlement of the complaint
, Havildar Sumat Dahriya and constable Kamal Kishore had demanded Rs 18,000, out of which Rs 1500 was taken through Paytm and Rs 5000 in cash immediately and the remaining amount was being demanded from him repeatedly. The applicant did not want to give bribe but wanted to get both of them caught red handed. After verification of the complaint, today on 24.01.2025, ACB Bilaspur organized a trap and caught the accused Sumat Dahriya and Kamal Kishore red handed while taking the remaining amount of Rs 10 thousand.

The accused have been taken into custody and action is being taken against them under the provisions of Section 7 of the PC Act 1988.
