High Court of Chhattisgarh Commemorates 79th Independence Day with Dignity and Patriotic Zeal

 

Bilaspur,The High Court of Chhattisgarh celebrated the 79th Independence Day with solemn dignity and patriotic fervour. The occasion was graced by Hon’ble Shri Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh and Hon’ble Judges of the High Court, accompanied by their families and the invited dignitaries.

The celebrations commenced with the arrival of Hon’ble the Chief Justice, who paid floral tributes to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi and the statue of B.R. Ambedkar, symbolising the nation’s enduring commitment to justice, equality, and freedom.

Hon’ble the Chief Justice hoisted the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of unity and pride. The ceremonial march-past by the Police and NCC Cadets was warmly received, and mementoes were presented to the Parade Commanders in recognition of their disciplined display. An E-Cycle was also presented to an employee as part of the occasion’s initiatives.

Also present on the occasion were the Officers of the Registry, Officers of the Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy, the President, Secretary , Senior Advocates and members of the High Court Bar Association, the Additional Advocate General, Deputy Advocate General, Officers of Advocate  General Office, Staff members of High court of Chhattisgarh and local citizens.

Concluding the formal proceedings, Hon’ble the Chief Justice cordially interacted with the guests, marking the close of a distinguished celebration that reaffirmed the High Court’s enduring commitment to the constitutional values and its dedicated service to the people of Chhattisgarh.
