Bilaspur ,Principal and clerk of Government Higher Secondary School, Padampur Mungeli arrested while taking bribe from a retired head teacher
The applicant Shri Ishwar Lal Bharti, Sarkanda Bilaspur had complained to Anti Corruption Bureau, Bilaspur that after his voluntary retirement from Government Secondary School Jarhagaon Mungeli, DDO cum Principal, Government Higher Secondary School Padampur, Mungeli owner Ram Mehar and Babu Honey Sharma had demanded Rs. 20,000 in lieu of issuing the bill of GPF, pension and gratuity amount and even after the applicant paid the amount, another Rs. 10,000 bribe was demanded in lieu of the bill. The applicant was distressed and did not want to give more bribe but wanted to get the accused caught red handed taking bribe. During the complaint verification, negotiations were done and an agreement was reached for Rs. 8,000. Today on 10.01.2025, a trap was organized and the accused owner Ram Mehar and Honey Sharma were caught red handed taking a bribe of Rs. 8,000 from the applicant.
Both the accused have been arrested and action is being taken against them under sections 7 and 12 of the PC Act 1988.

BEO Sitapur, clerk and assistant teacher of Surguja district arrested while taking bribe from assistant teacher transferred to Jashpur

The applicant Mr. Chamar Sai Paikara, Assistant Teacher, Govt. Secondary School, Baghbahar, District-Jashpur had complained to Anti Corruption Bureau, Ambikapur that he was earlier posted in Govt. Secondary School, Boda Batouli, from where after transfer, BEO Mithilesh Singh Sengar and Assistant Grade-2 Rajkumar Prasad of the office of Block Education Officer, Sitapur, District-Surguja are demanding a bribe of Rs. 15000 in lieu of giving LPC (Last Pay Certificate) and Service Book for drawing salary from Baghbahar, Jashpur. The applicant did not want to give bribe but wanted to get the accused caught red handed taking bribe. After complaint verification, today on 10.01.2025, a trap was organized and Mithilesh Singh Sengar, Rajkumar Prasad and their associate Anurag Barai, Assistant Teacher, Primary School, Dharampur were caught red handed taking a bribe of Rs. 15000 from the applicant.
